The event will take place on January 21 from 5:30 pm to 11:00 pm at the 9below Bar in Dublin. Organizers expect around 30 senior managers and decision-makers from IT, data and cybersecurity, including CTOs, CIOs, CDOs, CISOs, heads of AI/Data Science and digital transformation leaders. The main theme of the evening will be “Digital Transformation in Life Sciences: Innovation Meets Compliance.”
The meeting is set in the context of Ireland’s strong position as one of Europe’s key pharmaceutical and medtech hubs, hosting more than 85 pharmaceutical companies, including nine of the world’s ten largest players. The agenda focuses on the practical side of digital transformation – from deploying AI and automation to managing data in a highly regulated environment.
The programme will open with the keynote “AI in Healthcare and Life Sciences: From Hype to Innovation,” followed by a Q&A session and a panel discussion on the real-world value of AI in life sciences and healthcare. Confirmed panelists include Garreth Shaw (moderator), Alette Ramos Hunt, Sinéad Callinan and Phil Blackwell. The evening will conclude with an extended networking session with drinks and refreshments, running until 11:00 pm.
Discussion topics will include the real return on investment in digital technologies, balancing innovation with regulatory requirements (including data protection, cybersecurity and EU compliance), and case studies from companies that have successfully scaled digital initiatives in the highly regulated life sciences environment. The event is aimed at professionals responsible for technology strategy and AI implementation who are looking for proven approaches and direct exchange of experience with other industry leaders.
